Cardiff Science Festival 2013 is fast approaching! We have put together an exciting program which will be taking place 14th – 21st July. The events are up on the website so please use the navigation above to browse through them and start registering for tickets. We are building on the success of last year so thanks to everyone who came along to Cardiff Science Festival last year – there were well over 3,000 of you! – read BBC Wales Arts review of the festival here.
Our showcase for science and technology has loads of events taking place in venues across Cardiff. From hands on workshops, live demonstrations, talks, discussion forums, performances, lectures, debates, exhibitions, guided tours and panel discussions, there is something for everybody.
Highlights for 2013 include:-
Comedy events such as Robin Ince: The Importance of Being Interested at the Glee club on the 14th July. Come and hear just how great being self-conscious in this enormous universe is.
Family events include Titchy Tiny Science on Saturday 20th of July a show that brings a picture book to life with hands-on science demonstrations, animations and Kevin the dust particle becoming a rainbow!
Adult events include Techniquest After Hours on Thursday 18th July. Let your inner child loose to play with over 120 hands-on exhibits and explore the variety of entertainment, fun science and workshops to entertain and educate in equal measure.
Cardiff Science Festival is organised by a group of volunteers with the aim of providing as many fun and informative events as possible whilst keeping the costs as low as possible.
