Croeso i Gŵyl Wyddoniaeth Caerdydd!    Welcome to Cardiff Science Festival!

The third Cardiff Science Festival is fast approaching and will be taking place from 14th to 20th July.

All of our events are FREE except for the following higher profile events which carry a small charge to cover the speaker’s costs and venue hire: author and Red Dwarf actor, Robert Llewelyn, presenter Helen Czerski, conservationist and comedian, Dr Simon Watt,  award-winning Comedienne Rosie Wilby and BBC ‘Gastronaut’, Stefan Gates.

Our full programme is now available to download here  – or view day-by-day by clicking on the dates above to find the events scheduled for that day.

Our science exhibition will be open throughout the main festival weekend at the Senedd building in Cardiff Bay. Come and browse the various stalls on offer. Also look out for our family-friendly science treasure hunt around Mermaid Quay.

Our showcase for science and technology has loads of events taking place in venues across Cardiff. From hands on workshops, live demonstrations, comedy, talks, discussion forums, performances, lectures, debates, exhibitions, guided tours and panel discussions, there is something for everybody.

Cardiff Science Festival is organised by a group of volunteers with the aim of providing as many fun and informative events as possible whilst keeping the costs as low as possible.
