“One of the many highlights for us was the Turtle Jelly Bomb making workshop where 113 customers took part. This event not only allowed our customers to get hands on with the sustainable raw ingredients that go into our products, but it also enabled us to share the science behind bath bomb making as well raise awareness of the impact of plastic on our environment. The event had a positive impact on our business. We ran workshops over two days for the event and during this time we saw a 40% increase in our footfall, with a sales conversion rate of 58% which was a 4% increase from our previous month. Our social media posts level of engagement also increased, for example we received 222 likes on our post showcasing our Turtle Jelly Bomb making workshop in order to showcase the festival. We would love to be a part of Cardiff Science Festival again in the future and are keen to collaborate with any similar events in order to enhance our customers' experience and create a sense of community in our wonderful city.”
