Event Ideas

You might be keen to run an event, but struggling for ideas for what to do. Or, maybe you just want to try something new. We’ve made a physical event guide and digital event guide to give you some ideas of the types of event you could run.

Venues

We have run events in venues across Cardiff. Our aim is to take science to the public, so we’re keen to promote possible venues across Cardiff and the surrounding area, where you can run your events. Below is a list of available venues, along with details of them. However, these are just some suggestions, so please feel free to use other venues.

Funding

We realise that there are often costs associated with events (including hiring venues). We’ve put together a list of potential funding that you can apply for to help cover costs for your event.
